However, I would like to feel as if I’m not paying over market value. Right or wrong I probably approach it a bit simply, I have a gap in my collection and I need a coin to fill it. If it takes me a few years to find an appealing one I like then it must be uncommon, then I calibrate the price I’m willing to pay based on recent purchases of other coins in my collection.
