    Nobody said that. :) But the coin was designed and issued in the nazi years. And Hindenburg was depicted because he was the president who appointed Hitler and made him chancellor, i.e. head of government ...

    I stumble across quite a few of these - none nearly so attractive.

    Very nice. For some reason these coins just don't tone this nice very often. Also so many of them have been dipped.
