    Hi,
I don't post frequently but would like to share a recent purchase that I am very excited about and would like to share with the community!
A very rare Hadrain denarius depicting Patientia! As far as I know it is the only Roman coin showing Patientia.
    Obv. HADRIANVS AVGUSTUS PP.
Rev. PATIENTIA AVGVSTI / COS III
    3.45g, 17mm

Thanks for watching and feel free to add your rare Hadrians denarii!

I had no idea the type even existed. Great coin! I suppose Hadrian would have had a great deal of patientia to travel the empire at the speed of galleys and horses.

    Lol
Hadrian is on my get next list.
Bucket list: to visit Hadrian's wall on the UK
Btw, in those days it was probably easier and faster to travel 500 miles by sea than 100 by land.
    No Autobahn ;)
