    I just bought this from forum. It will make a nice upgrade to my 12 Caesars collection. The first coin is my current coin and the second is my new purchase.

(same), VF, elegant style, light toning on nice surfaces, high-points flatly struck, Rome mint, weight 3.512g, maximum diameter 19.0mm, die axis 180o, Nov 68 - Jan 69 A.D.;

    Nice job @Orfew ... that is a SUPER upgrade. Great job building and improving that Seutonius 12!

    Mine is pretty rough...

    I only have one Imperial Galba, besides the Alexandrian Tet I posted recently. Apparently Rare, AE As. (29mm, 10.94g) IMP SER GALBA AVG TR P. / CERES AVGUSTA S-C RIC 1 291, minted Rome between July 68- Jan 69 AD. 2015-01-07 01.08.12-20.jpg

    I also find zero--on CoinArchives Pro--for these parameters: Galba AND Hispania AND 193

    Yup, your both right. My search parameters were too broad. A second search showed none!

    WOW!! That's a fantastic upgrade @Orfew!! And apparently super scarce to boot. I LOVE it and since it's a 'FORVM" photo, I know it's even BETTER in hand.

    My only example of Galba with the wreath reverse:

    It was easy to confuse this one for ric 191 and perhaps others. The reason is the reverse legend. On 191 it is clockwise, on 193 it is counter-clockwise.

    Great upgrade, especially over the original.

    Paid too much $ at the time I think but bought from a fixed price list from a dealer in Chicago --> the Galba. Had just finished graduate school when I bought it, around 1988 I think.[IMG]
    Galba denarius

    While at it; his follower & assassin. To compensate, bought at a very good price from an auction around 2002: just before Roman gold went up.

    Have a nice Nero sestersius but am missing any coin of Vitellius.
