Greetings.. The denomination of this French paper money is 500 Francs. It's dated April 27 1933 M. After long search on Krause Catalog, I couldn't find an exact match. The nearest similarity was KM# 88 and 89. The Catalog is for" general issues". Could this paper be a special issue? Would it be considered as rare? Please post your comment. Thanks. It's Krause P66m. P88 is the modified version of this note, with "Le Caissier General" instead of yours which has "Le Caissier Principal". Not worth a ton in this condition, maybe $30-$60.

    Welcome to paper money :)

If you're focused on France, the catalog you want to get is the French catalog by Fayette, Les Billets de la Banque de France. It will have much more info than the Krause world catalog.

According to the catalog I have, 66m was printed between January 12, 1933 and June 10, 1937. In VG it's listed at $30 and in VF it's valued at $85.
