Rare British Crown Coin?

    I found this coin in my uncle's attic when I was clearing it out yesterday and I found this British crown that seems to go for quite a bit when it is in a PCGS/NGC holder. Thanks for letting me know what it this coin is worth and if it is worth grading to conserve for the rest of my family.

    Looks real to me, though it does have some problems. Worth something less than $100, so probably not worth certifying. MHO, let's see what others say.

    Can you just check the edge lettering? There is a scarce variety that reads AANNO instead of ANNO.
    If it's the normal variety then as already stated, less than $100 and not worth slabbing.

    That generally means I agree with the previous poster. I love old Victoria coins, but in general they are not rare.
