no mint mark means it was minted in Philadelphia. A long time ago there used to be only 1 mint (and 13 states). So there was no reason to create a mint mark because everyone knew where coins were minted. coins, since they are made of metal, will tend to tone various shades/colors. If you add anything to then, such as human skin oil, it will tone differently. Or heat, or plating or fallen out of the pocket on a beach/ground as the acidic level will cause other various toning/coloring. And without closeup, in-focus pictures, the only person that knows what color your coin is, is you. And you may want to start your own thread too.
