my grandpa left me a small coin "collection". He wasn't a collector other than just collected random change (runs in the family it seems). It has far more "emotional" value than actual value. Nothing special in the coinage, a few Morgans though but mostly 1960s and 70s quarters.

I'll never use or sell any of it though. Not enough to spend, and worth more as a momento than anything else.

Counterstamped with small collector value in good condition. No numismatic value, .01 cent in this condition. The aluminum 1975 cent is not a legal cent.

I have many gold wheat pennies with no mark and they don't stick to a magnet. Are they worth money ????

 

They were struck in Philly. most circulated wheats are worth 3-5 cents.

 

If they are gold colored, they may have been plated which reduces the value.

 

Rest assured that those coins are NOT gold.
