Pointless, worthless, valueless. Just one of literally millions of counter-stamps from the mid-1970’s.

Unless someone owns an Acura. Stanley, if you really thought this was valuable, you have a long road ahead of you. Best to hook up with a local coin person for advice on every thing numismatic. If you were just trying to establish "creds", you did, but the wrong kind. Jim

Of course Stanly’s does have what looks like black powder residue, so there’s that.

Hey, mine is the only one !!

It was minted in Denver with shape shifting dies, thus the stamp and lack of mint mark. And only minted one before changing again. :)

at least, that is what I was told.

Oh I didn't catch that. The rare no "D" Lincoln-Kennedy variety. Yep, you got mine beat.

Stanly... Thanks for sharing this. It is priceless in that it was handed down from your grandpa. Hate to say this... But the counter stamp lends nothing but a story-line to your piece.

Stanley, you can go over to eBay and find scores of these. One of the most popular stamps seems to be the shape of states. They are novelty items and carry no numismatic value.
