Years passed... dad's career changed, I got married & we ended up on opposite sides of the USA. My son was born.. and I've started him on the hobby now that he's old enough to show an interest (finally got bored of video games). I never got to hunt with dad again though, as an adult, in the USA... he passed away a few years ago. We'd always talked about hitting some old homesteads, as he really wanted to find some old pennies, silver, anything US that was "old"... he loved the idea. Just never found the time. I relic hunt... and although I've found a TON of clad.. and a few silver... and a ton of relics... I've yet to dig a true 1800's era american coin. Hopefully this summer![/QUOTE]
