    I tell my wife that I can not guarantee they are not modern fakes. We saw a bronze artist in New Orleans who guaranteed he could match any patina. That is why I think an XRF ("I think you mean XRF", sorry TypeCoin, a missed key stroke) would be a good investment. As much as I dislike import restrictions, I can see the benefits of a provenance to the ground that many archaeologists want.
