For any who are unsure what's up with this thread... A radar sends out a signal. If that signal hits an object it bounces (pings) back the same signal to the sending location. This is the basis for how the word "radar" has come to be used to describe a series of numbers (usually re: currency serial numbers) which are the same frontwards and backwards. To explain better here is a quote from the below web page: "Radar Notes have palindromic serial numbers – that means they read the same forward and backward. I was also scratching my head about that. It's not specifically the coin itself, but rather the PCGS certificate number assigned to the coin, which is: 38966983 EDIT: @KBBPLL beat me to answering the question.
