Yesterday I received the eight coin boxed set from the R.A.M. . From order to door in CA in under two weeks. The set is a work of art, # 224 . It comes like you can see on the RAM site in a persentation box of SHE-Oak wood. A small plaque engraved comes loose with the set that can be set inside. All documentation is top quality.I collect so far gold sets but Doug is showing me the light about older coins. The price at purchade time was less then melt. Today it is about 5.5% above. Compared to the US set it was a great bargain, but time will tell. The silver set is the same but the queen is depicted at an earlier stage in her life, 1966. It is also looks to be very same art . They included shipping with the 300 gold sets they made. There are 6500 silver sets of boxed units. I looked at the 2005 gold set but it seemed to be inconsistant in the oveall art type produced. I see why it has not been real popular.

The U.S. sets are running at about a 30% premium to gold and they might have over shot the mark for collectors wallets.Again time will tell.

Be well

Floyd

www.ramint.gov.au
