To those who didn't get the highest scores, some consoling words from Sophocles (Greek, not Roman !) - "Rather fail with honor than succeed by fraud."
I won't be giving away the answers on this thread, but here are some stats: After 55 people having taken the quiz, the overall average score is 41%. 9 scored above 50%. Question #5 was the one that tripped most people up, with only about 7% (4 out of 55) answering correctly.
Thanks for making that @zumbly , it was fun! Holy smokes, I went in thinking I would do pretty decent....WRONG! CRAP.... SHAME ding SHAME ding SHAME ding
Yeah, I can relate. Same score. But for a guy who almost entirely handles Roman Imperial silver and late Roman bronze, I did about what I would have expected. Just under half. Maybe when I have done what I want to do with imperial I will attend to my crazy pile of Provincial Bronzes.
This guy, in the Coin Quiz, did very well. He got 25 answers correct ! Did I say 25 answers ? Sorry, I meant 25% !!!
Oh well - not too bad I guessed wrong on two 50:50 choices (but, hey - a lot of the right ones were hunches/guesses too!)
