On any coin purchase, we could say it was either (1) foolish or (2) far-sighted. I bought many of my more treasured coins under this conundrum. I am sure many of the prices then seemed foolish to some.

Really nice coin stella. I learn something new every time Iam on here. Just don't have the mulah to spend that much on a coin but good thing you do or I would have never seen one. Nice job,, thanks for sharing.

 

A neat coin and an educational thread. Hobo's description of what went on at the mint is pretty humorous, imo. I hope that more interesting varieties like this will turn up, it adds some spice to the hobby.

 

even though its a low priced coin it is ne od my favorites, with only 2 graded pcgs better at 66.
