What is the clue between the half and the quarter?

 

The size of the motto. It is much more bold on the half...... Well, that’s my story and I am sticking to it anyways.

 

I use the location of the R and U in TRUST, in reference to the word LIBERTY.

 

The date and lettering. Quarters lettering looks smaller, also the size of Liberties head compared to the stars also gave it away.

In what way...the half head is bigger in relation to the stars? Or is the quarter?

Half dollar's head is bigger compared to the stars than the quarter.

The lettering of IN GOD WE TRUST on the half and quarter is slightly different.

Can you re-do that 3rd image but without the dime - just the half and the quarter? The bust size and star locations seem to be nearly identical, but the IN GOD WE TRUST seems to be the big difference.
