There is a lot going on with that Dime! Dual Misaligned Die Strike with a collar clash on the Obverse. A bit of a finned rim also at the 10:00 position of the obverse. Die Cracks on the reverse. And a slight Indent in the same area. Not an Incomplete (clipped) planchet.
I'm not Paddyman, it's not SEGS and I'm a dollar short and a day late, but I can share this with you.
Nice one Paul, is that yours? This dealer had a pretty lofty price of 2500 on the segs coin. I don't even remember what year it was.
It is mine and I paid less than half of $2,500. This past spring one similar to mine sold at Heritage for $1,800.
Either way I think that it is out of my price range. Maybe under a grand or about 1250. Here is a little write up in coin world 2014. Lincoln cent struck on Roosevelt dime among growing type of error (coinworld.com)
I'm lucky in that the my LCS and internet dealer allow me to put things on lay-a-way. I waited three months before this coin landed in my mail box. It was worth the wait. Interesting article. Thank you for sharing.
