"Frown upon" doesn't come close to it for me. "Consign you to a Dante-esque perverse level of Hades" is more like it.
Yeah, some cry "hobby" to no end, but let's face facts here; the hobby is money, and particularly today, in many ways revolves around much beyond the coin itself. Slabs, certifications, labels, yada, yada, yada. God bless the purists, but one would need to be a hypocrite to condemn flippers (or eBay sellers.... anyone other than knowledgable dealers offering "value" beyond the coin itself) while accepting the countless other for-profit intrusions into the hobby/business. As the old saying goes: "it comes with the territory". That said, I also agree with the "flip away" suggestion, but as said earlier I've a bad feeling the OP, at least from what little we know, probably isn't ready to do so beyond, perhaps, certain mint releases or the like. It's bad enough when a simple collector buys what he does not know/understand, but when a brand new wannabe flipper/seller/dealer does, it can be an utter disaster, regrettably often resulting in nefarious conduct (fluffery, lying, misrepresentation, etc) out of desperation in order to recoup investments when the dreams of easy money fall through.
