For those of you that sell a lot on eBay, is there a way to post items say at 1 or 2am without having to pay the 10 cents for each one? There has got to be a way the big sellers post wee hours in the morning from the east coast so bidders on the west coast can bid at later hours in the evening. So if you know, please enlighten me and tell me how you can do it. Thanks!!

I've never found a way to delay a start time other than by paying the fee.

Thanks geek. I honestly haven't used the feature in ages, so it's good to know that it is now free.

Thanks. I'll check it out. My listings always show a charge for delaying insertion but tonight I'll try this out.

Unfortunately, that's misleading. I tried and you still get hit with the fee. Then I called eBay and the girl told me the same thing. There is no way to list it through eBay delayed without getting hit with the fee. But there must be some software out there that lets you do it without paying the fee.

I just tried it, and I was not charged a fee. When creating the listing, go to the "Choose a format and price" section and click "add or remove options" then select the option to add scheduled start time.

    And this says they may charge for it;
There may be an additional fee when you schedule to start at a later time.

yeah, I read that too. Conflicting info, lovely.

When I did scheduled listings with my eBay store, it was free I believe.

I closed the store last month, else I would test for the OP. Sorry guys.

    RLM,

Did they list those fees at the time of the listing, or did they just show up later? When I did it just now and got to the end of the listing process, it was showing zero fees.

I think the reference to the fee was in delaying the start time which has always had a fee associated with the service.

Free listings need to be started as they are created unless you want to incur the start time fee.

I listed them before I left town and did not check until I got the invoice. I have no idea when they showed up in the middle.

Over here we get 20 free schedule listings per month but I never use it.
Schedule 20 listings per month for free.
No Scheduler fees for auction or fixed price listings.

I used to use Auctiva to list all my coins, it allowed me unlimited photo`s per listing and unlimited schedule listings.but then they began to charge.
Now I just list when I want, if someone sees and wants your item they will usually set a high bid or use a sniper program if they are unable to be around when the auction finishes.
