Friend Mr.Carr, you obviously have a financial relationship with HSN and I'm sure not going to fault you for that. You're getting national recognition for your hard work and deservedly so. But on the other hand, I watched the dollar/medallion pitch twice and Mr. Mike Messick(sp?) did not mention your name either time; he did not say these medals were designed by an award winning artist, or anything for that matter about you.

I just feel sorry for the folks who plunk down their hard earned money to buy anything this guy sells. He makes it sound like he is doing collectors a favor, that he is the only one who has these coins/sets and that his offerings are the best deals in the history of the planet Earth. Anything this guy sells you can get directly from the US Mint if it's a current mintage; or you can get from a reputable dealer. They gobble up coins, have some grading service in their hip pocket, put sets in their own packaging and make it sound like the deal of the century.

You mentioned a roll of dollars for 44.95, plus shipping 7.50, plus tax 3.50; so for around 56.00 you get something that's worth 20.00 and you can get at the corner bank. And what's with the state quarter sets that they gold plate, another worthless scamola. I know it's let the buyer beware and free enterprise and all that; it's just a shame because it is not representative of the coin collecting community.

Thanks, Douglas
