Questionable Practice

It's almost like PCGS and likely NGC have their own fonts that you can't just select in a typing app

It's not unknown for some organizations to have their own font created for them.
I saw a reference to that not so long ago but can't remember the organization.

I found out the hard way to be VERY careful when dealing with fonts.
When I first started as a cartographer I was assigned to identify a font and then write a type order.
I checked a few letters from a master font template and then wrote the order -- 20+ pages.
Guess what.
I identified the font incorrectly and didn't make a copy of the order.
So I spent a couple days rewriting it.

 

I was being sarcastic in the last post but yea they have their own fonts at least the big two do
