So, if PCGS is right that it's QC, would it behoove razor to consider having the coin dipped? In your opinion, is the coloring possibly covering some other degree of damage?
Ahh, okay. That actually makes a lot of sense. In that case, is it possible the owner should just keep the coin as is, since subsequent submissions might result in environmental damage designations instead of questionable color?
I guess it depends on what the coin looks like in hand, it appeared somewhat unnatural in the images. I think that a little time out of the slab could potentially result in a RB designation which would be a great score. Of course I am not the authority on this, just my personal opinion.
