If you wanted to build this set over 5 years, it would cost you approximately $700 per year assuming coin prices did not increase drastically over that time. I don't consider $700 per year a small fortune, but maybe some others do. If so, you could easily drop the Barber coinage, SLQ's and 1921 Peace Dollar down to AU's and cut the total price of the set by about 40%.
