I don't think you did. The thread took a turn is all. It's a discussion in my eyes and a good one.
Differening points of view is all.

You like dollar coins, and believe me, many here know that I don't.

It (using dollar coins) is great in theory as it would save a lot of money in productioin costs and longevity. I won't deny that.
Problem is IMO that they are not circulating as they should and surely not enough to warrant minting billions more every year.

I've had this particular discussion a LOT believe me. People keep saying they are spending them and getting them in change and I believe them. I have YET to receive one in change.
The last time my wife went to the bank for me I told her to pick me up a roll. They didn't have any because they don't order them. Granted it was a branch bank but I have no plans of chasing around banks to get a dollar. Guarantee they had $1 notes though.

Finally, I'm sorry about the Sacagawea term if it offended you. Didn't mean to and will keep it in mind.

Bill has to be dead for two years before his coin would come up as welll. If he isn't the dollar coin series would end before it even got to Hillary. Since Bill would only be around 69 or 70 years old at that time, and since as a former President his health care plan is excellent, unless he gets shot by a jealous husband he has a very good chance of surviving well beyond that point.

So if Hillary gets elected then shortly after they both die in a car wreck (please don't take offense to this anyone it's hypothetical) they could both get Presidential AND spouse coins?

    Now that would be interesting.

    No Apostrophe!

Thanks for your words Clembo. I am glad it is a discussion. I would like it to continue also. Thank you for taking my criticism about the nicknames for coins gracefully. I laughed out load at the Clintons in an accident comment. (not the part where they get hurt, the coin part)

    On an unrelated note:
I cannot believe I titled this thread without an APOSTROPHE! I am so embarrassed.:(
And what's worse, apparently I can't edit the name of a thread, even if I started it.

Then the Clinton dynasty will have 4 coins in all !
This is unfair, all the more reason not to vote for her.
I wonder how much she will tax them.
