I was wondering if the blank space on the obverse and the curve imprinted on the reverse were errors or some type of damage.</p><p><br /></p><p>I also found a 1968 copper penny that has strange characteristics. The obverse is very raised like it was punched more than once, but there&#039;s no doubling that&#039;s visible. The reverse seems normal other than the Lincoln Memorial seems slightly deformed.
