[QUOTE="Lehigh96, post: 1069174, member: 15309"]I attempted to complete a set of Peace Dollars a few years ago in MS63+. Due to the rarity of rainbow toned Peace Dollars, my goal was simply to choose eye appealing examples mixing both brilliant and toned coins in the same collection. While there are some key dates like the 1934-S and 1938, they are available if you have the funds. The stopper for me was finding attractive lustrous examples for the coins not included in the common dates. I have not added a coin to this collection in well over a year and it may come time for be to abandon the venture.

I think that both NGC and PCGS grade Peace Dollars in a very similar standard.
