does anyone see any problem with this 1836 Half on eBay? http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=400209339850&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT#ht_3360wt_905 I know nothing about these halves but from what I can find, things just don't look right. For instance, I can't find any reference describing an 1836 as O-108a. The folds of the drapery don't extend up the front of the bust. The curl in front of the cap looks smaller than it should. The stars on the right side are deformed. The folds of the drapery above the digit "1" don't appear quite right. There appear to be bubbles behind the curls at the lower right and I don't know what that is below the curl on the side of the neck. Finally, the denticles don't seem right. The motto on the reverse seems less crisp than I should and the "50" looks wrong. Again there appear to be bubbles in the area of the denomination. As I said, I don't know anything about halves but I can't match this one up with any pictures of known genuine ones that I've been able to find.
