    Hello all:

    First time posting a question.

I am trying to obtain either CFP 5 Franc coins at face value plus shipping and handling.

I am looking into buying a significant quantity.

Here is what I have done already...
    1. Contacted the Paris Mint = No they don't do this.
    2. Sent off a letter to the Bank of Tahiti = so far no response.

If anyone else has any ideas, I would welcome them.

    Thank you.

It is the currency used in "French Polynesia" and "New Caledonia" that I know of. CFP stands for "Communauté financière Pacific". I believe one franc is worth a fraction of a Euro cent.

Do you remember that woman who made Picasso's Sunflower picture in coins. I would like to do some other theme (undecided), but in that same line of thought.

The picture is pretty amazing using various coins. I am sure you can find it online somewhere.

Oops I meant Van Gogh's Sunflower picture in coins. My Picasso comment must have been a brain fart.

My wife is into Van Gogh's starry night picture. We have a large staircase that has about 25 starry night pictures on it. Prints and original oil, water color, chalk and pencil drawings. Cool looking.
