Question: Latest SPQR on Roman coin?

    It was asked on another forum "what was the latest Ancient Roman coin with the inscription of SPQR?" This example of Constantine I was the latest I could find (from Wildwinds.com).

    As far as Roman Imperial coinage goes, that would be it. But later medieval and modern issues of the city of Rome often bear the SPQR logo.
