Time and time again they failed ! Even today, with all of the advances in technology that we have, there is still now way to keep copper coins mint red. Even the TPGs acknowledge this fact because they refuse to guarantee the color designation.</p><p><br /></p><p>So no, there is no accidental way for such a huge number of red coins to be red. There is only one way it could have happened, and still happen - copper can be successfully dipped !
