Thanks, TIF. Not as nice as Doug's, to be sure, but the inscription is more readable than my other one. This one has the Lambda before the Delta in Diocletian.
I like it very much. If we want to be really picky the spacing of the legend should move the O next to the Y since Greek used the diphthong OY for the W sound that starts Valerius. You will see it used in Vespasian and Valerian as well. The Γ is for Gaius which has no o. Transliterations are a problem in every language and we are rarely fully consistent when we do such things. Latin/Greek are pretty easy compared to what we face on some Eastern languages being expressed in English.
