I just bought 3 1 oz bars that are marked EPM. I searched the forum and didn't find anything, I searched the net and found a page where someone was selling them as rare. Does anyone have any info on EPM. The EPM bars don't look so shiny in the pics as I have not received them yet. Should I be trying to only buy bars that look shiny and new or does that really matter? Also whats the deal with IRA acceptable bars?
For all I know , the EPM could be someone's initials or a MINT . People tend to like the flashy silver look, but as long as it weights out, who cares. IRA, I don't know. You might benefit from speaking with your tax advisor.
The EPM is definitely the manufacturer's initials or mint. I have seen different brands sell for different prices. Just looking for some info on EPM and if it is rare as I seen from a search on one net page that I have found.
