    I'm not debating whether Scalia is deserving or not but the Quarters are to honor women. Hopefully none get picked, or left out, because of their political beliefs. Nice if it was women who contributed to the advancement of Numismatics. There's enough of them. I know that's not going to happen as the law was written by politicians.

    Sorry, animals was one of the earlier topic suggestions. That got changed to women and and it is 4 years women, 250th ann independance and then 5 for sports.

    Interesting thing, the legislation for the prominent women does NOT mandate that they have to be deceased (like the State quarters,ATB quarters, and President dollars did). Legally they could actually approve images of living women. I don't think that will happen, but who knows.
