Yes, it is uncirculated but it&#039;s a deep, glossy brown coin. It would not garner the prices that a Red/Brown or Red coin would but it is sharp and natural.</p><p><br /></p><p>I showed my number 1 set to my local dealers assistant one day and the coins he liked the most were the 1865 and 1871. This set contains an uncirculated 1864 small motto and 1872 which are both very tough coins. All I can say is he has a good eye to pick out the sharp brown coins.[/QUOTE]</p><p><br /></p>
