That is a valid point and why the coins in these older holders that are CAC'd often times receive very strong bidding.

I paid around bid for both, so the deal was basically break even or a slight loss after seller's fee.

 

Than you didn't do badly. For the higher end , lower pop rare pieces, timing and offering venue can produce better returns.
