Awww c'mon, it's a beauty, it says silver plated in the heading but says .999 gold on the reverse. Then it says silver plated iron in the description.

So it is a beautiful iron, gold, silver Morgan. $1.56 with free shipping...how can you go wrong?

That's fraud. I'm sure some idiot will think it is white gold.

Oh wait, the seller is from China. No surprise there. If only the Chinese had anti-counterfeiting laws that applied.

Yes, I noticed that and one buyer purchased 20 of them. Gave me a bad feeling, I don't see 'copy' on them either.

Don't China have any counterfeit laws? I am sure they must have for their own money?

I can't think of any LOL. A lump of coal would be better and cheaper.

At least with coal I would know santa didn't hate me lol.

I meant that China doesn't have any anti-counterfeiting laws that apply to the counterfeiting of U.S. coins or currency.

Nothing says I love you quite like a cheap Chinese counterfeit. I feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

Interesting. My understanding is that it was a capital offense in some of the American colonies originally too.

Something like that would be grounds for divorce as far as I am concerned lol.

Ok, here is a question then, do our counterfeit laws apply to Chinese coins and currency in China?

So, I could get a bunch of cheap metal blanks and strike them as Chinese .999 silver pandas in the U.S. Then sell them to a Chinese vendor in China legally?

I see where you are going with this and the answer is maybe. It would depend a lot on politics and the state department.

I can see that, however the question is....legally could I do that now?

Let's solve the whole thing, let's set up a press and whack out a couple of million copies a week. Fight fire with fire lol.

Silly. Don't you know of our imbalanced trade relations with Ji-na. They can do it and we can't stop them. We do it and it's federal prison time
