    That's an interesting little bit of "object biography"! (Very common, of course, to sell a collection through one's dealer. Less common, I suspect, for that dealer to buy back the coin when the collection is sold through another!)

    Thanks for sharing the link. Looks like his page is still being updated. I noticed some coins ex his collection, and was a little worried it was his estate, relieved to hear otherwise.

    I remember him (online only) from uncleaned Roman coins (at least 10 to 20 years ago), especially the "Uncleaned Ancient Coin Seller's Code of Ethics" (or similar), which was an interesting idea. I've been trying to find the logo for it on my computer or email somewhere...
    Gotta stop looking for now & go to the ANS Zoom...
