question about coin

    Most doubling is not doubling. If it's not
    machine doubling, it often times is an
    abraided die-die polishing that hit the edges
    of the cavities in the die giving it a slighty raise
    look on the coin.

    No! there is a D right beside the tie on his neck!

    On the 95 I see PMD on the ear. i don't see any 2 on the neck and I don't see a D by the TY on the 83

    Thanks for checking, on the the 83,. your right, that is just his tie.. the #2 on the 1995 - it's a double 2.. I am going to send it off to have them check by a specialist.. The ear has a chip missing on it..
