To my eyes it's definitely tilted and doesn't look like other CC mint mark examples. Maybe VAM 2? I can't find much via Google.
Thanks for any insights. 20210424_133235.jpg 20210424_133457.jpg

If the second C is actually touching the wreath, then you have 2 to choose from, VAM 2 or 11. The date position should tell you which one. Use the links provided by @thomas mozzillo

I don’t think it’s VAM2, the first C is a bit too low compared to a coin I found online. Looking at VAM11 again, it could be a match...

Not a VAM collector. I have my hands full with ordinary Morgans. :)

Thanks guys, I appreciate the input. It's pretty hard to find good pics of VAM 2 and VAM 11.
I'm going to break out the real camera and post some better pics latter.

For now we can compare the MM position of your coin with the VAM11 mintmark - I rotated the picture slightly to match the VAMworld coin:

    Wow, thanks!!
Is it just me, or does the first C seem closer to the D and further from the wreath on my coin?
I will get some better pics up soon.

HI. Based on the positioning of the 1 on the obverse, it appears you have the VAM 11 Far Date. When you check a good picture of the VAM 2, you will notice it is in mid dentil position compared to slight right of center of dentil for the VAM 11. Enlarging the posters obverse photo, one can see the the slight right of the center of the dentil.

Thinking the same thing...plus whether VAM, BAM, DAM, HAM, JAM, PAM, RAM, SAM, YAM and ShaZAM...it's all the same to me :woot:. That said, is there some sort of VAM or...? for the different size 'S' mint marks on the early Morgans...? Have some 'S' marks that are two-thirds the size of the normal ONE DOLLAR size and such lettering, and others that need a 5x to distinguish. With all the small and large (and some mediums and micros) of this/that listed for various coins/values...dates, letters, numbers, etc...have never seen anything listed for those small-med-large 'S' mint marks.

All Morgan and Peace dollars are VAM's. Follow this link, find your date and MM. If there is a medium or micro S it will normally be listed

I’d say that’s a match... the C’s are both closed and at the expected position for VAM11. Date looks good as well. Can you try to align the lines with the digits, e.g. the first line with the stem of the 1? Just to be sure.

Double-check VAM 5. I'm not sure the mint mark position is a match for VAM 11.

    Will do, thanks.
It does look like mine is more tilted than the 11 example.
