Amazing the number of countries, territories, and bailiwicks that featured QEII wearing the King George IV State Diadem on their coins at one time or another. Trying to get them all...

Three don't have the name of the country/territory on the face. Above is Great Britain. Below is Canada and Bailiwick of Jersey

And then a bunch more with the name on the face:

And that's all it will let me post here...continued below...

Turks and Caicos came in Yesterday

Funny thing happened. Shortly after receiving the coin I went to the matinee showing of RED 2, and in the movie they mentioned the Turks and Caicos Islands!

So I tried to find the quote online, to no avail. But I did find out that the star of the movie, Bruce Willis, was married in the Turks and Caicos, and has a pad there.

Another interesting thing. The bust of QE II on this coin is different from all the others.

I know this is an old thread, but thank you DrHenley for posting photos of world coins featuring a portrait of QEII. I was about to begin a post where forum members could help compile a comprehensive list of every country that bears the portrait of QEII. However, on second thought, I could compile the list myself using Standard Catalog of World Coins (Krause Publications). Even so, I was more interested in modern silver bullion. I appreciate the time it took for you to organize and post photos of your collection. A post like this serves as an invaluable source of information.
