[CLOSED] Quarter Notes Giveaway #11 (counterstamped quarters)

    This contest is now CLOSED. The winner was announced in Post #30.

    This contest will be decided by a random number drawing sometime on or around December 25, 2022, or whenever I'm available on the forums. Should I be absent, you may consider the contest active until such time as I return and finalize it with the drawing.

    To enter, simply type the words “entry post” into your reply.

    The enigmatic “QuarterMaster” from Quarter Notes, Ltd. (whose secretive identity remains unknown to me to this day) counterstamps short, pithy phrases- which amount to riddles, sometimes- on Statehood quarters, and releases them into circulation. Often the phrase has something to do with the state featured on the host coin.

    He has anonymously sent me several rolls of his handiwork to distribute.

    The prize will be eight different Statehood quarters counterstamped by the Quarter Master, just as with the past Quarter Notes giveaways. Have fun with the riddles!

    I've never been on the QuarterMaster's list...but I've been finding his quarters in rolls for a few years here in the Denver area... they always make me smile.

    Thank you @lordmarcovan for doing all the legwork for the generous and, as you like to refer to him, enigmatic, and elusive QuarterMaster. A big thank you to both of you for providing what has turned out to be hours of fun since this has started.

    Entry post. I am grateful to have been the recipient of a half-dozen letters from our enigmatic Quartermaster. I recently packed my bags for our winter stay in AZ and after a summer of selling our home and moving I think I finally have my collection of stamped quarters all in one place and accessible. Before Christmas I will post what I have.

    Should the ghost of Christmas Present favor me with 8 more, I will be offering any duplicates to a YN.
