What I've found is that the ICG slabbed and graded coins are always less expensive than coins graded by PCGS or NCG.</p><p>I have gathered quite a bit of information on ICG. I would say that they are more involved in just grading coins and doing coin shows than they are selling coins in stylish slabs, and the other products that PCGS or NGC push. </p><p>Personally, I feel the coin collecting community is controlled by a bunch of "SNOBS." The people at the top of the hobby manipulate the hobby to keep PCGS and NGC as the top tier graders, ICG and ANACS have been relegated to second-tier companies, but DO NOT THINK for one minute you are buying an inferiorly graded coin.</p><p>Again, coin grading is an Opinion and not Science. All 4 of the top grading services make mistakes, even PCGS & NGC make mistakes too!!!</p><p>I don't think for one minute that this ISN'T A PRECONCEIVED PLAN by the top two coin grading services to keep ICG beneath them in the coin collecting community. </p><p>I will tell you that when I attend a coin show, I buy the coin that fits my budget and the coin I like, not the Grading Company!!!</p><p>I like ICG very much!!![/QUOTE]</p><p><br /></p>
