The 34 year is rather common right? However, is it kind of rare among the rest of the provinces. I know that the FengTien Tael is very expensive! Anthony H
No. I would put it as one of the most common amongst all the other variants.. there is no Feng Tien Tael but there is a Feng Tien Dollar
I also have a 1911 Yunnan Province 50 Cents that I bought. It is full luster and is graded XF to Au This is a dragon on the back. Is it worth anything? (It is real) Also I know that the coins were minted during Republican times? Is this correct?
Hmm.. I stand corrected then. Seems an extremely rare and probably and probably unique pattern specimen
I have a fairly nice conditioned 1927 memento dollar. I know that there are many varieties, but I want to know if it is real and what grade it has. It does not stick to a magnet and weighs properly. There are some nicks at the end but overall it is in a nice condition. I want to see your judgment and opinion on the coin! Anthony H
It's a nice piece.. legitimate. Also I wouldn't worry too much about these memento dollars with a rosette star on the reverse..they are collectible but also pretty common. You should be concerned only with the one with a 5 pointed star.. they are rare and worth a high premium
Loongsiew I have a Manchurian Provinces 20 Cents. I am sure it it genuine, but do you know the grade and the value of the coin? Thanks So much Anthony H
Hey Loong Siew Can anyone tell me their opinion on the following coins? http://www.ebay.com/itm/111947091978?_trksid=p2055359.m1431.l2648&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT http://www.ebay.com/itm/331810642436?_trksid=p2055359.m1431.l2648&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT
Stay away from both sellers - these are part of the newer super counterfeits but are obvious once you are familiar with them. I suggest you continue to look at genuine examples sold by large auction houses before making any further purchases unless you want to throw your money away.
