Q.MARC.LIBO two ways

    A bronze As of Q.MARC.LIBO arrived today. I liked that most of the name could be read. It goes well with the denarius of the same series I bought about 6 years ago.

    Roman Republican As, 145 BC, Rome
    Obv - Janus head
    Rev - Prow R; above [Q].MARC, MA in monogram; before - LIBO; below - ROMA
    Cr 215/2b, the difference between 2a and 2b is the mark of value to the left of the prow on the reverse. This coin is weakly struck on that side where the casting sprew was removed. If I have a good imagination, I can see the top of the I.
