This is a beautiful wedding commemorative. Very nice grade. This coins can be easily found in VF-XF, yet much harder in UNC.

I was about to say that too. I've been looking for this coin for a long time, but it's hard to find problem free examples!

I think part of it is also due to common weak strikes that become blatant due to the intricacy of the designs. What do you think?

    Nice coin Regandon.

Which area of german numismatics do you focus on? 19. th century thalers? You seem to have quite a few of those. I used to be very keen on double thalers due to their large and impressive size. Lately I have focused more on fractional coinage, specially from the smaller states and principalities.

    I'm focused in four areas.
    1) 1600 to 1916 German States commemoratives.
    2) Talers from the 1700's to before the coinage reform.
    3) 1700 to 1918 German States Patterns.
    4) 15th to 19th century German minor coinage.

I do find the Patterns the most interesting and most challenging area of German coinage. My favorite Patterns are the 18th century silver ducats from Frankfurt.
