What coins do you think will be in the proof set of the year 2100?

I think coins will no longer be minted at that time :droid:

I would think by then we will be cashless. But I certainly will not know what happened by then.

I checked my special edition history books and it will be the quarter, dollar, two and five dollar coins.

The two dollar coin will be ridiculed by the public though and cashiers who are not used to seeing them will call the space cops on ppl that use them.

    So now you know. :)

Ahhh... But you guys are forgetting. It takes the Fed fifty years to catch up with the rest of the world. Heck the worlds been connected for 25 years now. However if you need info from the IRS you have to write a letter and wait eight weeks for a reply. The machine that is the Fed is far too large and fat to change with the times. The mint will be happily striking coins for a hundred years after they are no longer used.

    I won’t be around in 2100, so I’m filing that under “I don’t care.”

I could believe that. Missile silos are still using 3.5" floppy discs in their computers.
