Be carefule. Do not use the piont. Do not jag the knife into the set try to use just the rounded part of the edge. (usually located about 2/3 of the way up the blade) I actually use the bottle cap opener on my leatherman to pry with instead of a knife. The one with the blade like end. I figure there is a considerably smaller chance of me cutting of a finger. Not that I really care about the finger but the blood would ruin the proof coins. </p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Any time I break out coins I have soft clean cotton colths laid out just incase. I also have each direct fit I will be using open and ready for the coins. I try not to touch the coins at all but if I do I use the cloth or gloves. Finger prints are cool for CSI&#039;s but coin collectors hate them.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>***Warning*** be careful. the case can crack and send peices of plastic flying. I have been hit in the eye with some of the small shards of plastic before. Thank god I wear glasses. Imagine collecting coins and not being able to see what you have.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Hope this answeres thing a little better. BTW the westward journy 2 and 4 coin sets are the only cases that I know of which are reuseable.
