Just lucky Roy---I wasn't thinking about the way you could flip it over and posted before thinking about it. This coin is still rare IMHO and should be sent off---the 20o won't be as $$ as if it was 160o but it will still be $$ Speedy
I e-mailed ngc and they said 20o rotation isn't recognized as an error. I thought 10-15o was mint tolorance oh-well I tried
I agree. 15%o is a small amount. I think you should call ngc, ask them to look at those picture. Maybe crop them so they are next to each other.
This is new to me---all of the error collectors I know say that 15o is the max.....email PCGS and see what they say. Speedy
just got confirmation that pcgs will slab the coin, they said any coin 15o or better will quailify for mint error! I don't know why ngc had a problem with it then again ngc doesn't grade any of the Minnesota or Oregon errors anyone know why?
Well I for one don't think the Minn DD and such are what they are hyped up to be.... Glad to hear that PCGS will do it----they have a great expert working the error part for them! Speedy
Hi all, pcgs graded this coin pf-69 which is not bad at all. They did recognize it as a mint error so i'm happy about that. It came back with a 30o rotation which I hope it brings some $'s.
They did yours, why didn't they do mine??? I have the exact same rotation on 5 of my reverse proofs. I sent them in to be checked for the rotated reverse also and they did not give me the error! I'am big time ticked off right now. Heck, mine might be a little worse than that. What should I do?
Yes, I specifically stated the rotated reverses. I paid the $40 each for the mint error service. I just don't get it.
Weird. I never had a coin slabbed, so I don't know what to tell you. That coin is awesome Miterman! Very nice! Phoenix
