Proof, right? Or business strike?

Truer words have not be spoken.....most just don't understand why? I believe for the most part most collectors can identify with a Morgan /Peace dollar.
When you get into shield nickels, half dimes, 3 cent nickel as well silver , there isn't a following who understand the mintages how a series who started in the millions ended up with less than a 1000 minted!
Next the die factor records are spotty as some were never kept, but die marriages and the mint using retired proof dies to strike mint state coins.
So collecting these series compared to silver dollars is a tad bit more of a challenge.
