I have never taken interest in this current frenzy over slabbed so-called 70's coins. Too me it is just another scam by the TPG's to make money. It just seems funny that as this modern craze to possess the "perfect coin" grows so do the percentages of them showing up suddenly. Hmmm. It used to be that die-hard collectors would say that a true perfect coin didn't exist, now they are showing up everywhere, everyone thinks they have one in their set and the TPG's are loving it! Coins, sets are being sent in that would never have been considered to be graded before this frenzy and all the TPG's have to do is send out a few "70" labels now and then, sit back and watch their profits soar. It's simple. The TPG's are in the business to make money and if the coins don't come in, that's bad for business. Therefore, they are going to do whatever it takes to keep customers happy and keep the money rolling in. Remember, ALL of my coins are perfect and I don't have to pay someone to tell me that! Just because the presidents on the coins are dead, doesn't mean they belong in a coffin!!:o
